Booking terms
Arrival time
Patrick and Isabelle welcome you between 5pm and 8pm every day.
If you wish to arrive earlier or later, please let us know at the time of booking or at the latest on the day before you arrive so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served between 8 am and 10 am. If you wish to eat breakfast earlier, please inform us either at the time of booking or when you arrive.
Departure time
We ask that you vacate your room by 11 am at the latest. If you do not comply with this request, we may add an additional night to your bill.
If needed, there is a storage room where you can leave your luggage for a few hours after vacating your room.
Car park
Our property has an enclosed outdoor car park next to the garden available for use by our guests. To preserve the peace and quiet for our guests, you may not park on the side of the inner courtyard leading to the reception. However, you make park there when you arrive, while you unload your luggage and complete the registration formalities. You may also park on the street for free.
Pets
We love pets as you will see when you meet our cat, Toscane. However, the layout of the property means it is not possible to bring your pets with you. We also wish to provide a peaceful and calm environment for our guests.
Smoking is not permitted inside the building
For safety reasons and for everyone’s comfort, rooms and the common areas are strictly non-smoking. Ashtrays are available in the courtyard and the garden.
No eating is permitted in the rooms
Snacks, picnics and meals may not be eaten in rooms. If necessary, we can keep your food in a refrigerator.
If you make the request in advance, you may exceptionally bring in your food and eat it on site (in the garden or in the reception room if it is available). A mini-oven and a microwave are available to our guests.
E-bike rental
Two electric bikes can be rented for 12 euros per half-day and 20 euros per day.
You can book these directly at the guest house
We ask that you pay at the start of the rental period, at the same time as signing a rental agreement.
Use of the swimming pool in season
The swimming pool is open every day during the season (May to September) between 9 am and 8 pm. The swimming pool is unsupervised. Therefore, children must be accompanied by their parents and/or an authorised adult, who shall be exclusively responsible for their care and supervision.
We reserve the right to close the swimming pool if there is any doubt about water quality.
More generally, guests accept to scrupulously comply with all the property owner’s instructions regarding the use of the pool and poolside area.
Complying with health measures during the current pandemic.
We ask that our guests comply with the health measures in force on their arrival (social distancing, use of the hydro alcoholic gel available at the reception, wearing masks).
For our part, we undertake to comply with the various official rules and recommendations in force, when providing our services.
Booking and cancellation terms
Your booking on our internet site will only be effective after you have paid a deposit of 40% of the cost of your stay online by credit card. Payments via our website are fully secured. You can pay the balance on the end of your stay, via credit card, cheque, travel cheques or cash.
If you have to cancel your stay, we will refund you:
- your full deposit, if you cancel up to 8 days before your planned arrival date;
- 50% of the deposit if you cancel between 4 and 7 days before the planned arrival date.
If you cancel less than 4 days before your arrival date, La Closerie Saint-Vincent will retain your full deposit.
In exceptional cases, where you are forced to cancel due to Covid 19, we will refund you the full deposit upon presentation of supporting documents.
